Summertime is Cleanup Time for Your Kennel

Dogs light up our lives. Those of us who have them would never want to be without one. Still, our furry friends can be a lot of work and can bring a lot of unwanted odors into our lives. If you have a kennel in your yard, you’re going to need to know how to get rid of kennel odor…at least if you want to enjoy your yard this summer.

If you’re like most dog owners, you’ve tried just about everything to get rid of kennel odor to no avail. Some odors, like pet urine odor, have a way of resisting even the strongest cleaners and air fresheners. Fortunately, there is a product that works to eliminate pet urine odor and other dog odors: Biocide Systems’ Liquid Shocker.

You may ask, “What’s so different about Liquid Shocker?”

That’s a fair question. After all, you’ve already tried other products and they didn’t work. What’s so different about ours?

The difference is simple. Most odor removal products are designed to mask or cover up smells rather than actually removing them. They don’t deal with odor at its source. Liquid Shocker does.

When you Bio-Shock™ your kennel with Liquid Shocker, the chlorine dioxide in Liquid Shocker bonds chemically with the organic matter that causes pet urine odor and other pet related odors. This bonding takes place on the molecular level and results in the complete elimination of odor, leaving your kennel smelling clean and odor-neutral. Simply follow the instructions with the product and you’ll know how to get rid of kennel odor fast.

While Liquid Shocker is effective against most types of chemical odors, it is especially effective against organic odors. Since the odors dogs leave behind them are generally organic in nature, Liquid Shocker is particularly effective on kennel odors.

Is your dog an indoor/outdoor dog? Order some Room Shocker to take care of indoor pet odors. Pet urine odors and other offensive smells are eliminated completely with Room Shocker. Dog owners are also advised to pick up a doggiCLEEN Skunk 911 kit. While we hope you never have to use it, you’ll be glad you ordered it if your dog ever does get skunked.

Keep Your Boat Smelling Like New

There’s nothing quite like a new boat. The look, the feel, the smell. Unfortunately, new boats have a tendency to become old boats fairly quickly. Just by the very nature of what we do with our boats, they become magnets for odors. Even if you don’t use your boat for fishing, it’ll quickly pick up a musty, mildew odor if you don’t know how to get rid of boat odor.

There are a number of things you can do to keep boat odors in check. Some of the best ways to get rid of boat odor and make sure it doesn’t take over your new boat include:

  • Clean your boat as soon as you take it out of the water. The longer you let the lake or sea water stay on the hull, the easier it’ll be for odors to take hold.
  • Dry your boat thoroughly. It doesn’t do any good to wash your boat if you’re going to leave it wet. Moisture from tap water will encourage mildew growth just as much as river water will.
  • Use an odor remover that works regularly. Don’t wait until the smell in unbearable. Use Biocide Systems’ Marine Shocker when you first start to notice that your boat smells funky.
  • If your boat already has boat odor problems, you can still Bio-Shock™ your boat with Marine Shocker. As a matter of fact, this is when Marine Shocker really shows its value. Marine Shocker does more than cover over odors, it’s a complete odor remover. It bonds with the molecules that carry odor and breaks down the organic material that causes odors, leaving only clean oxygen behind.
  • Use Marine Shocker when you close your boat up for the season and again when you open it up next season. This periodic use of Marine Shocker will help ensure that you eliminate odors before they have a chance to become a serious problem. Just be sure you use Marine Shocker. Other products just mask odor temporarily. Marine Shocker is a complete odor remover.

Keeping your boat smelling like new is easy if you know how to get rid of boat odor. Just make sure to keep some Biocide Systems boat odor remover Marine Shocker on hand.

Leaving the Fish Smell at the Lake

We love to fish, love being out on the water, love hooking the big one, we love eating what we catch. We even love telling stories about the one that got away. But none of us love the smell of fish. If you have fish odor in your boat, truck, or home, it isn’t because you don’t want to get rid of it. It’s because you’ve come to accept that as a normal truck and boat smell.

Here’s some good news: You don’t have to live with boat odor in your truck or boat just because you love to fish. Taking care of that truck and boat smell doesn’t have to take all kinds of effort, either. Removing fish odor is easy if you know how to get rid of fish odor from boat or truck.

Chances are, you’ve already tried everything you know. You’ve cleaned your truck and boat the best that you can. You’ve hung air fresheners. You may have even tried spraying your truck and boat down with Lysol or other cleaners. Nothing gets rid of fish smell. That is, nothing except Auto Shocker and Marine Shocker.

Auto Shocker and Marine Shocker are both manufactured and distributed by Biocide Systems. They work by bonding with the very molecules that carry odor. The odor is released and the byproduct is fresh, clean oxygen. They don’t mask over boat smell and truck odor. They eliminate it completely at its most basic level.

Make sure you order plenty. You’re going to want Auto Shocker and Marine Shocker on hand to use after your fishing trips. Keeping the boat smell fresh is easy when you know how to get rid of fish odor from boat or truck: Just use Biocide System’s Auto Shocker and Marine Shocker. Even tough fish odors have to go when you Bio-Shock™ them and other boat smells won’t stand a chance.

Tips for Opening up Your Lake House

Summer’s here! Summer’s here! Well, almost. It isn’t officially summer until you open up the lake house, right? Unless this is your first year owning a lake house, you already know that it takes quite a bit of preparation before you’re ready to enjoy your lake house properly.

Most lake houses need some serious TLC before you’re ready to open them for the year. The first thing to do is to thoroughly clean your lake house and get rid of the odors. Most lake houses deal with stubborn odors that require an effective and strong bad odor remover. Many lake house owners try to mask odors with flowery fragrances, but who wants to smell the aroma of musty lilacs?

If you’re tried most aerosols, you know they don’t work…at least not for long. At best, they replace one bad smell with another. So, what bad odor remover does work? Only one that kills odor at the molecular level, releasing the odor and leaving clean, fresh oxygen behind: Biocide Systems’ Room Shocker.

Whether you just need to remove odor from room or need to eliminate odors throughout the whole house, Room Shocker is the best way to get the job done. Whether you have a chemical odor or an organic odor (such as skunk spray, fish odor, or mold), Room Shocker eliminates the odor, delivering a knockout punch on the molecular level. It doesn’t cover odor, it destroys it.

After you remove odor from rooms that need it, you should keep some of Biocide Systems’ Room Shocker on hand. Not only will it come in handy if you should have to deal with fish smells over the summer, but you’ll want some on hand for next year.

Ideally, you should use Room Shocker when you open your lake house for the year and when you close it for the year. You will also want to use it anytime you need to remove odor from room due to unusual circumstances. Don’t use fragrance to mask over bad smell. Use the bad odor remover that really works: Room Shocker.

Fighting Mold and Mildew in Your Lake House

What the first thing you notice every year when you open up the lake house? If you answered “musty smell” or “mildew smell,” you’re not alone. Most lake houses have mold and mildew problems. Knowing you’re not alone is small comfort if you still have a musty smell in house, though.

So how do you go about getting rid of mildew smell in your lake house? Your first step should be to locate the source of the mildew. Once you’ve done that, you can take steps to eliminate mold and mildew. Unfortunately, even after you’ve cleaned and eliminated mold and mildew, you can be left with a musty smell in house. Fortunately, there is one odor eliminator on the market that kills odors on the molecular level: For getting rid of mildew smell completely, you need Biocide Systems’ Room Shocker.

As long as you only have surface mold, you can take care of cleaning it yourself. Basically, it boils down to scrubbing the daylights out of it. If the mold or mildew is on a nonporous surface, such as a Formica countertop or shower surround, you can use a mixture of water and bleach (10:1 ratio is plenty to kill mold and mildew). If the surface is nonporous, use Borax instead of bleach.

Once you’ve killed the mold, you’re going to want to go about getting rid of mildew smell (to say nothing of the odors from the chemicals needed to kill the mold and mildew). Room Shocker quickly and effectively eliminated both kinds of odors. Not only will it get rid of the musty smell in house caused by the mold, but it can also eliminate the odors caused by the chemicals you used to clean. After all, you don’t want your lake house to smell like bleach any more than you want a musty smell in house.

Summer’s Almost Here: Time to Clean the Lake House

In case you haven’t noticed, the snow is gone and the flowers are starting to bloom. Spring has sprung. For lake house owners, that means just one thing: summer is right around the corner. Before you know it, it’ll be time to head up to the lake house. Time for boating, swimming, skiing, fishing and all of the other things that make owning a lake house worth all the extra effort. If you’re like most lake house owners, you’re already beginning to look for an odor eliminator that can get rid of the smells that go along with all that fun.

It’s a simple truth: Lake houses present some special challenges when it comes to keeping everything fresh and clean. The extra humidity and moisture in lake houses makes it easy for them to become musty. If your family likes to go fishing (and what family doesn’t?), you’ll have to deal with fish odor in house. It’s all part of owning and enjoying a lake house.

You may not be able to keep your home from the things that cause odor, but fortunately there is an odor eliminator that can stop all sorts of odors in their tracks. Biocide Systems’ Room Shocker eliminates odor quickly and completely.

It’s natural to be skeptical about products that claim to be cure-alls. To that, we can only say try it. Room Shocker uses Chlorine Dioxide. That sounds like a scary chemical at first, but when you realize how it works, you’ll know that it’s the odor eliminator for you…and that fish odor in house won’t stand a chance against it.

Chlorine Dioxide works to fight odor on a molecular level. When it comes into contact with the sources of odor, it bonds with the odorous molecules, causing a chemical reaction. It oxidizes the source of the odors. Once the odor eliminator has done its job, the remaining byproduct is pure oxygen.

Room Shocker doesn’t cover or mask odors in your lake house. If you’ve ever tried to mask fish odor in house or mildew, you already know that’s a losing game. Room Shocker isn’t a fragrance, it’s an odor eliminator. It doesn’t hide the odors in your lake house, it gets rid of them.

Spend your summer enjoying your lake house and leave the odor elimination to Biocide Systems’ Room Shocker.

The Worst Pet Odors and How to Eliminate Them

Dogs, cats, and other pets add a lot to our lives. Unfortunately, one of those things is the need for removing pet odors. Odors like pet urine odors are among the hardest smells to get out of your house. You can’t mask them, no matter how hard you try, and it can seem impossible to get rid of them without getting rid of the pets. Fortunately, there are ways of removing pet odors effectively. Read on, and we’ll show you how to deal with the worst pet odors.

  • Skunk odor. We know, most of you don’t own a pet skunk (though it’s becoming increasingly popular, believe it or not). Still, when your pets and skunks cross paths, the smell is just as bad as if you invited the skunk over for dinner. If your pet gets sprayed by a skunk, use doggiCLEEN Skunk Spray by Biocide Systems to get rid of the odor quickly and permanently (or, at least until the next time your pet investigates the arrival of another skunk). Every pet owner should keep this on hand. You can also eliminate the smell from the house with Biocide Systems’  roomSHOCKER Quick Release.
  • Wet dog (or cat, if you can manage to get one in the water). Dogs have a habit of getting as wet, musty, and muddy as possible. If you’ve ever had a wet dog camp out on your furniture or carpet, you know the smell is tough to get rid of. RoomSHOCKER by Biocide Systems will do the trick quickly and effectively. Once you’ve BioShocked the room, use roomSHOCKER time release to keep it smelling fresh and odor-neutral.
  • Urine. It doesn’t matter if it’s dogs, cats, or any other pets, if they pee in the house, it’s going to leave a foul odor. Pet urine odors are among the hardest to eliminate for most odor removers. Biocide Systems’ roomSHOCKER can eliminate pet urine odors easily.

Are you noticing a trend? If it seems like we’re suggesting that Biocide Systems’ products are the answer to every situation that calls for removing pet odors, it’s because we are. Here’s why: Biocide Systems’ cutting edge chemical technology uses chlorine dioxide, a chemical which bonds naturally with the molecules which hold in organic odors. This bonding makes removing pet odors easy, while releasing harmless and odor-neutral gas into the air, eliminating all of your organic odors-from pets and otherwise.

BioShock That Smelly Lake House to Get Rid of Odors for Good

If you’re like most lake house owners, you love being close to the water, but hate dealing with the extra cleaning and odor control that are inherent in living where there’s excess moisture. Common household problems like mold, mildew, and pet odors become harder to control when you add the element of constant moisture in the air. Worse, many lake house owners close up their summer homes (or winter homes for you Florida snow birds) in the off season, allowing the moist air to stagnate. Chances are, you’ve tried all kinds of odor removal products that don’t work.

Removing odors from rooms in your lake house doesn’t have to be difficult. In fact, it’s surprisingly easy when you have the right odor removal products on hand. Unfortunately, you won’t find the truly effective products on many store shelves.

If you’re tired of trying to mask and perfume over lake house odors, try Biocide Systems’ roomSHOCKER. It used chlorine dioxide to bond with the organic molecules which cause lake house odors. This bonding results in the formation of harmless and odorless gasses. All of that is a very technical way of saying “your lake house will smell clean and odor free.”

Removing odors from room in your lake house is easy. To get rid of odor quickly, simply dissolve roomSHOCKER Quick Release into water according to the instructions. The resulting chemical reaction takes care of the rest. To maintain an odor neutral lake house after the initial BioShocking, or to address minor lake house odor issues, use roomSHOCKER time-release.

You want to enjoy your lake house. Who doesn’t? You’ll enjoy it more once you’ve eliminated those lake house odors. BioShock your lake house today with roomSHOCKER Quick Release. And to keep it odor free all year long, use roomSHOCKER Time Release.

Why Most Carpet Odors Just Keep Coming Back (and How to Stop Them)

Have you ever noticed that it doesn’t really matter whether you’re trying to clean a house, car, boat, office building, or anything else, it’s always the carpet odors that are the hardest to deal with? Most carpet odor eliminators on the market focus on trying to cover up the odor (usually with poor results). It’s tough to find any true odor removal products, much less ones that work.

There’s a reason that carpet odors are tough to get rid of. Furniture odors are tough for the same reasons, though we tend to throw out and replace smelly furniture rather than trying to mess with odor removal products. The reason is simply this: Most carpet odor eliminators (and odor removal products in general) do nothing to actually eliminate the odors.

Odors are caused on a molecular level. That’s why a very small amount of a smelly substance can cause such a stink. To get rid of odors you need to combat them on the level on which they occur-the molecular level.

Biocide System’s series of SHOCKER products is designed to do just that. Our chlorine dioxide-based odor removal products bond with the organic compounds which get lodged deep into porous surfaces (like furniture, rugs, and carpet) on a molecular level. The chemical reaction which takes place results in the formulation of harmless and odor free gasses. We literally eliminate odors by eliminating the source of odors.

Biocide Systems has developed odor removal products for a variety of uses. You can BioSHOCK your home or office with roomSHOCKER and BioSHOCK your cars with autoSHOCKER. We even have products to deal with skunk odors. No matter what stubborn smell you are trying to get out of your carpets, BioShocking will get the job done. It’s even effective against stubborn fire and smoke damage odors. It’s easy to use and effective. Just dissolve the product in water according to the instructions and let the odor removal products do the rest.

7 Tips for Getting that Used Car Ready to Sell for Big Bucks

Whether you sell cars for a living, or just want to get rid of your own used car for a better price that the dealership offered you in trade, you’ll want to know a thing or two about removing car odors. Whether you’re dealing with mildew smell in car, removing smoke odor from car, it’s important to get your car smelling as fresh and new as you can.

Here are 7 things you can do to help your car sell quickly and for more money:

  • Keep the exterior clean. No one wants to buy something that’s dirty. No one will pay top dollar for it. If you want to sell your car, wash it once in a while.
  • Keep the interior clean. This should be a no brainer, but you’d be surprised how many people try to sell a car without cleaning the interior. If you don’t want to do this yourself, find an auto detailer.
  • Eliminate (don’t mask) car odors. Most of us are sensitive to some odors, less so to others. Smokers don’t tend to notice smoke odor as much as nonsmokers (unless they’re the buyer….oddly enough, they notice it then). Removing smoke odor from car, or removing mildew smell in car requires a product that can truly eliminate the odor. Try autoSHOCKER from Biocide Systems. It eliminates the odors by bonding with the organic compounds which cause odors on a molecular level and oxidizing them. Most products supposedly designed form removing smoke odor from car only mask the odor with perfumes (which is why you notice the odor again after a short time).
  • Drive the car occasionally. You might not notice small mechanical problems if you don’t drive the car occasionally, but a potential buyer will.
  • Fix small problems. You’ll spend less repairing minor problems that you’ll lose negotiating over the price of a car with unresolved issues.
  • Be aware of the Blue Book values. Today’s buyer has access to these values online. You’d best know what they are, too.
  • Take your time. Often, we’re in such a hurry to sell a car that we don’t take the time to entertain offers. If someone makes a low offer, you don’t have to give in. You can always get their contact info in case you don’t get a better offer later.
